The Banquet Captain’s purpose is to ensure that their assigned events are highly organized and well executed, resulting in the complete satisfaction
  • Assigning duties to banquet staff and supporting other Banquet Captains assigned to that particular event or function.
  • Ensuring constant communication is maintained between the Kitchen during the event, alerting of any changes in the schedule of service, challenges or adverse comments from guests that may arise during service.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working as a Banquet Captain/Supervisor, preferably in a high volume banquet or hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, and weekends.
  • Promotes excellence by providing superior supervision and leadership to the entire service team and to each client and guest.
  • Projects a professional and polished image that inspires confidence
  • Inspires others with enthusiasm and positive energy.
  • Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals.
