Part Time Prep/Line Cook

Location: White Plains, NY

We are currently seeking a Part- Time Prep/Line Cook for a Medical Facility in the White Plains area. Scheduling will include working every other weekend including all holidays. 
 
Qualifications:
  • 2- 3 years of Restaurant, Medical Facility or Catering kitchen experience.
  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Previous Prep or Line Cook experience in either a medical facility, hotel,restaurant or catering company. (2-5 years)
Skill Requirements:
  • English language and professional communications skills are required.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
