The Supporting Cast is a premier staffing agency supporting New York City’s finest hotels on temporary and temp to permanent positions. We are currently seeking an experienced Front Desk Manager for a luxury hotel located next to Grand Central.  The position is full- time scheduling, averaging between 40-50 hours a week, with paid overtime. This opportunity has the potential to become a permanent, salaried position.
Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-3 years working front office in NYC luxury hotel
  • Full- time scheduling, with 2 overnight shifts per week
  • Flexibility with schedule is key
  • Overseeing 3-4 internal hotel employees per shift
  • Handling guest issues as they arise in a timely fashion
  • Available to start immediately
  • Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
  • Performs all duties at the Front Desk as necessary.
  • Encourages and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Job Description:
  • Oversee all public areas visible to hotel guests ensuring immaculate condition
  • Front office areas include Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard and Guest Services/Front Desk.
  • Seek opportunities for development and actively participate in training provided
  • Supports day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers daily
  • Ability to maintain confidential info for all guests 
  • Working with multiple departments to ensure hotel standards are met and guest satisfaction is exceeded
