Currently seeking a CORPORATE RECEPTIONIST for an ongoing contracted opportunity. Position entails the following below. If interested please submit your resume ASAP.

  • Greeting and assisting visitors and/or escorting them to an office or meeting room
  • Answering phones and transferring calls to the appropriate employees
  • Screening calls when appropriate
  • Offering guests refreshments and helping them with their bags
  • Ordering ground transportation for guests if necessary
  • Taking messages and making sure they are delivered to the appropriate employee
  • Accepting and signing for packages and distributing the mail
  • Keeping the reception and pantry areas neat and clean
  • Ordering and stocking supplies
Requirements & Qualifications
A high school diploma is required and a 2 or 4 year college degree is preferred.  1 to 2 years prior experience as a receptionist in the financial or legal services industry is preferred.  Must have proficient with heavy call volume and operation a corporate switchboard. The receptionist must be able to interact professionally and courteously with visitors and staff and be a quick learner who has a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude about work.  Overall, must be a poised professional who understands the significance of being “the face of the firm.”
On-the-job training will occur, however, the trainer, another receptionist, will likely have a number of her own duties to cover. In addition to being a quick learner, the receptionist must be able to understand the nature of the business and handle several situations at once. The receptionist must also be alert and watchful of every visitor who enters the business. The receptionist may be the first one to alert security if there is a problem.

Additional Information
The hours for this position are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm M-F, with an hour for lunch. Punctuality, professionalism and consistency are must haves.
